How it started

Two problems. One platform.

The automotive industry is full of incredible independent shops — the kind that keep our cars, and our communities, running. But two things were broken at once.

Drivers were lost in the noise

Sponsored results, outdated directories and endless tabs — with no easy way to tell who to trust.

Shops couldn't get found

Independent businesses with real expertise, priced out by franchise ad budgets and unclear marketing ROI.

So we built one automotive-only destination that solves both — where drivers find what they need, and local shops finally get seen.

Built by a car person.

Dustin Meyer founded The Auto Network on a simple conviction: the independent shops that keep our cars running deserve a fair shot at being found. A lifelong car and motorsport enthusiast, he set out to build the automotive-first platform he always wished existed.

"Until now, there hasn't been a single automotive-first platform connecting drivers to local small businesses. Our focus is keeping the automotive industry strong — for the small mom-and-pop shops."
