Review Request Templates That Actually Get Used

The reason shops don't get reviews is almost never that customers are unwilling. It's that asking takes effort at the exact moment everyone's busy. These are short enough to send in five seconds.

Replace [SHOP], [NAME] and [LINK] before saving these into your phone. Your Google review link is in your Business Profile under "Ask for reviews."

Hi [NAME],

Thanks for trusting us with your car this week.

We're a small local shop and most of our customers find us through Google. If you were happy with the work, a short review helps more than almost anything else we could do:

It takes about a minute, and it genuinely matters to us.

What to say
"Glad we got that sorted. One thing — we're a small shop and Google reviews are how most people find us. If you get a second later, I'll text you the link. No pressure at all." Then actually send the text before they've left the lot.
What not to say
Don't offer a discount, a free service, or anything of value in exchange. It violates Google's policies, the reviews get filtered, and it puts your listing at risk.

Want us to check your listing against this?

We'll audit how your shop shows up on Google, in Maps and in AI assistants, and send you a plain-English report on what's costing you calls. Free, and yours to keep whether you work with us or not.
